I am an Entertainer, a Professional Dancer, Dance Teacher, an aspiring Musician, Singer / Songwriter, Choreographer, Zumba Fitness Instructor and Ballroom Dancing Adjudicator...

I was born in South Africa... born into a musical family where i grew up with music everyday of my life. Music resonated through me from a very young child, all of my emotion and existence as i knew it was bound to music from a very young age.

My fathers family are amazing jazz musicians who play piano, sax and the keyboard. My mothers side of the family singers, drummers and guitar players who excelled at singer songwriter material, even a little country music.

As a child and leading into my teenage years I began creating music on my brothers Korg T3 Keyboard whilst taking piano lessons...

My brother excelled at piano and still today does, so as he played so I sang... We spent countless hours as children playing, singing and composing music...

At the age of 14 my mother discovered I liked dancing and took me to my first ballroom dance lesson....

My dancing career began... and Music took a step behind...Three years later I was competing in several genres of dance namely freestyle, rock 'n roll, hustle, Latin-American, slow dance, and hip hop. I excelled in all genres but decided to specialize in the "partner" dances, after attaining honors in all my technical examinations.

During 1997, I became the Undefeated South African Rising Star Rock n’ Roll Champion, Undefeated South African Rising Star Hustle Champion, and Undefeated South African Pre-Championship Latin Champion.
Finally after becoming a South African National Latin Finalist in 2000, my partner and I moved to London to continue our dance careers and improve our quality of dancing by training with the best teachers in the world.

After training with the best Latin-American teachers in the world, during 2002 my partner and I were placed in the top 24 couples in Chrystal Palace IDSF cup.

Whilst competing all over the world we attained many great results. We performed and took part in many shows and productions, from appearing in South African Soap operas (Egoli - Place of gold), Music Videos (Mariye; Phepo - Bongo Muffin), British Sitcoms (Not going out), British Feature films (Brides head revisited), Starlings and Murder on the Home Front, to Hollywood feature films (Me & Orson Wells).

At the end of 2008 I moved to singapore to dance with a professional Singaporean young lady where we were placed in the top 6 professional couples in The Taiwan Professional Dance Sport Championships.

June 2010, I completed my Licentiate Latin-American Qualification with honor's through the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) attaining an astonishing 96% aggregate, winning The 2010 Giles Bursary Award.

Today I still dance, teach, adjudicate and compete, but I find myself drawn back to music, as its music which drives my soul....So i am branching out composing and aspiring to sing!!!

My life beliefs....

To me there are 5 necessities in life:

Music - which is like water, it heals, cleans and quenches your soul!

Dancing - Goes hand in hand with music, it revitalises and rejuvenates the soul, gives it new life!

Passion - the love for, the desire for, the expression of ones inmost desires through physical and metaphysical motion and expression.

Love - the attraction of ones soul to an object or subject of its desire!

To Dream - To imagine, to plan, to envision an objective, usually rendered through passion, love and desire.

My Personality (a test that proved correct):

Temperament - Flexible
Nothing seems to bother you - you sail through life crisis free. It's not that your life doesn't have its ups and downs, it's just that you handle everything without unnecessary drama and antics. You approach each day fresh, not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You are confident that you can handle anything that comes your way and experience has shown that you are absolutely right about this.

Interests - Thrill Seeker
You are interested in anything that is exciting and pleasurable. You're not afraid to indulge yourself - you live by your own set of rules and don't allow yourself to get hung on what others think. For the most part, you are independent and do whatever you please to do. Trying to stop you from doing something only makes you want it even more. At the end of the day - you live for life's most thrilling moments.

Amusement - Adventurous
It's a good thing that you are filled with energy and ambitions (that others sometimes find exhausting) because you're continually looking for a new adventure and exciting experience. You struggle with a continual feeling of restlessness which constantly pushes you to the next level of excitement. Once you have accomplished one thing, you are eager to accomplish something more exciting, riskier and distinguishable.

Passion - Physical
You are a cuddle bug - from a warm hug shared with your best friend to steamy sex with your partner, you enjoy every bit of human contact that you can get. You demonstrate your love for others most fluidly through physical one-on-one contact and you feel the most loved when you are being touched. You feel disconnected when you are physically isolated from others. You're a people person and a lover of all things human.
