Never in history have four top professionals retired at the same time... The Four top Professional Latin couples announced their retirement from competitive dancing! Blackpool was the last chance to see them on the floor competing against each other and we are going to miss them so much!

We have just received an information from Benedetto Capraro, that he decided to retire from competitive dancing. He has a back problem and recovery takes a lot of time. With his partner Orsolya Toth, representing Germany, they were 3rd at the IDSA World Professional Latin Showdance Championship - see more results.

After a long term successful dancing career Justinas Duknauskas and Anna Melnikova have decided to determinate their dancing together as a professionals. They represented Lithuania in Professional Latin. In 2011 Justinas and Anna won the title of WDC World Professional South American Showdance champions. Throughout their career they were European and World Professional Latin finalists, Blackpool finalists and World Cup finalists. See more results and photos. We are saying a big thank you to our families, teachers who stayed with us and all the fans for a support during our success. Both are planning to continue their separate professional careers with new partners.

BALLROOM AND LATIN AMERICAN 1. The DPA/BDF National League in Amateur, Senior I,II,III (Senior III Ballroom only), Youth, Junior and Juvenile sections will operate for a 12 month period starting on the 1st of March each year.

NATIONAL LEAGUE for Amateur Ballroom, Amateur Latin, Senior 1 Ballroom, Senior 1 Latin, Under 21 Ballroom, Under 21 Latin, Junior Ballroom, Junior Latin, Juvenile Ballroom, Juvenile Latin, Senior 2 Ballroom, Senior 2 Latin, Senior 3 Ballroom All Competitions and Championships with the “NL” prefix in the above grades will now receive the same points as each other in the 2015/6 season.

The forthcoming DPA/BDF National League commencing on 1st March 2015 will have some substantial alterations.

From October 1st 2014 in the new National League charts the Social Chart will be split into Under 35 Social National League Chart and Over 35 Social National League Chart
